The south coast is an easy drive away (15km), with beaches for surfing, long white sands and dunes. Also visit Pont Aven, a picturesque riverside village famous since the time of Gauguin as a centre for artists, with many galleries, art shops, museum and cafés. Concarneau, with its picturesque fortified port and marina is also perfect for an afternoon visit. Many water and wind sports are available at the beaches, and also excellent golf and riding.
