Gloriously situated right on the waterfront with views over the Menai Strait across to the mountains of Snowdonia, Bank House is a spacious, terraced, late Georgian Grade II listed property, in the heart of the pretty town of Beaumaris. The living room is a great place to sit and watch the world go by, looking out at the splendid views. From the front door you simply cross the road and you’re by the sea! Children will love crabbing from the nearby pier, or indeed taking a boat trip to Puffin Island, whilst there are many individual shops to browse. Mighty Beaumaris Castle (a World Heritage Site) is well worth a visit, together with the gaol and courthouse. There is a wide choice of excellent hotels, restaurants, cafes and the Red Boat Ice Cream shop, all within walking distance. Further afield is the impressive Plas Newydd (National Trust), home of Lady Anglesey, whilst children will love visiting Foel Farm Park in nearby Brynsiencyn. Of course, it is only a short distance back over the bridges to the mainland to the beautiful Snowdonia National Park with its wonderful scenery and pretty villages. Beach 25 yards. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
