A Norman castle stands proudly at the head of this bustling market town which offers a wide selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Whilst centrally located, it is ideal for walking direct from the door, with picturesque walks found in nearby Skipton Woods, or over Sharp Haw which provides more demanding walking. Alternatively, the spa town of Harrogate is just a 20-minute drive and will satisfy the most ardent shopaholics, and a little further afield lies the historic city of York, also accessible by train in an hour via Leeds. Skipton is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and is a much sought-after destination for walking, touring and biking in stunning scenery - the apartment offers lockable bike storage. The property was in a great location just off the high street. it was really clean, modern and comfortable. nice bathroom and lovely touches, crisps, biscuits tea coffee milk etc. would stay again! - There was nothing to dislike about the property however we got told a different check in/check out time (check in after 4 check out before 10) to what what Sue the owner told us (check in after 5 check out before 9) this probably needs updating.

We stayed here on the 11th July 2022 for 5 nights and what a little gem it was. We could not find anything wrong with this cottage and it is a good location in Skipton. The cottage was to a very high standard and welcome tray was also provided and a pint of milk. You can park outside to unpack and use the car park which is just around the corner at a cost of £15 for a week. We will return again.

A great base for exploring the local area, especially for us as walkers. Excellent apartment in the town. Plenty to do & see in Skipton. We hope to re visit
