What a fabulous place. New owners Linda and Alan are super helpful but not intrusive. The setting is lovely. The cottage has lots of space and everything you need to relax. It's a top quality setting. Don't hesitate to book. You will love it.

One of best places we’ve stayed. Welcome hamper, lots of unexpected stuff such as dressing gowns, perfectly clean and everything we needed equipment wise. We will be staying again.

This is the best cottages I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail was second to none - it was beautifully furnished - lots of extra little touches such as lace dollies on the dressing table and little covers under the sofa side lamps. The welcome pack was stupendous! The amount of information provided on where to eat, what to see, was all up to date and extensive. Our host was delightful - even booking us into a local restaurant for evening meal on our first night to save us the trouble. All in all a cottage to die for - will definitely look to book here when we want to visit this part of the country again!

The cottage was immaculate with a warm welcome from Dorothy on arrival and a comprehensive welcome pack. The location was very peaceful, which was one of the reasons we chose it, with very pleasant views across the field to the distant hills There were no local amenities but this was clearly indicated in the property description and all necessary facilities were within easy distance in Pickering

Great welcome on arrival, shown around the cottage and we were made familiar with everything within, including a lovely welcome pack. The cottage itself had a very nice garden with open views of the surrounding countryside. This place was an ideal base for visiting all of the attractions on offer, and would return here without hesitation when visiting Yorkshire again.
