Having its own enclosed courtyard gravel seating garden perfect to enjoy drinks, al fresco dining and simply relaxing. A perfect retreat to relax and unwind. Be sure to bring your walking boots, as there is excellent walking to be enjoyed from your doorstep. A firm favourite for any keen road cyclist, many circular routes along quiet lanes again link from the doorstep. Located on the Norfolk and Suffolk border in the Broads National Park where the River Waveney runs through.
Explore Beccles, you are located just outside this wonderful market town, 25 minutes’ walk. The town offers independent boutiques and chain shops, an excellent collection of eateries including fine dining to many cafés serving homemade cakes and savouries. The weekly market is excellent for all things local should you wish to enjoy a night of cooking and dining in. There are many wonderful places nearby, The Broads National Park is very popular, best enjoyed on the waterways with kayaks, canoes and day boat motor launches for a more leisurely pace, or enjoy a guided boat tour, where you can just sit back and soak up the incredible national park.
On your doorstep is the Lido open air heated swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers. Ideally located to the River Waveney, be sure to bring your binoculars as it’s a great place to view the abundance of wildlife and offers great fishing opportunities. Lowestoft is the most easterly point in the UK and Norwich, a bustling cathedral city with culture, heritage and entertainment for all. Watch the weekly speed boat racing (in season) on Oulton Broad (9 miles). Suffolk heritage coastline; famous Southwold for pier, lighthouse, beach and fresh fish seafood eateries (12 miles) and Walberswick RSPB reserve (13 miles). Golf course within 1.5 miles.
