Fabulous place to stay, peace and quiet in abundance. wild life spotted includes rabbits, pheasants, chickens and sheep. In the field next door but also always in the road. Once you have located the barn, it's a great place to be, we had to ask a neighbour where it was . The river is well worth the stroll and Reeth, just up the road is a good place to start.

We had a lovely holiday in this comfortable cottage overlooking Fremington Edge. It had all we needed in the way of equipment including a brand new cooker, and the storage heaters kept the cottage very warm. The double bed was very comfortable with great views from the bedroom windows. Set in the beautiful Dales countryside we were able to go on many walks straight from the cottage door. The village of Reeth was just 3 miles away and provided all the essentials. We enjoyed the local community feel of the village and were given a warm welcome at a Reeth Brass Band concert, a concert given by a visiting Scottish Fiddle band and at Evangelical Church services. There were good tearooms, plus the Fish and Chip van on Friday evening!
