Beautiful house in a fantastic location. Some minor issues were; no tv (fine for us adults but not great for our toddlers when they need some time to relax), the pots and pans had seen better days, there was no hairdryer (which was rectified by the property manager) and the bedding wasn’t the comfiest. But as I say, these were minor and although we would prefer these issues were rectified, we would definitely consider rebooking next year.

Spacious house, ideal for 8 people and very dog friendly(enclosed rear garden), on a quiet development 5 miles south of Aviemore. Dog walking areas on the doorstep. Very clean accommodation with all required for those choosing to cook. WiFi good but no tv- option of same in this day and age may add to the attraction of staying at this property for some. All in all excellent property in what we thought was an excellent location.

Great place to stay. Comfortable with good views of local hills. Close to lots of great activities (cairngorm mountain, river Spey walking path, wildlife park, Reindeer sanctuary). Having no tv was a bonus and the children didn’t notice it’s absence. You do have to drive to shops, but you’d need a car to stay here anyway so not a problem. Had a great time. Would stay again.

Really enjoyed our holiday at Argyll Stone House. It had everything there to prepare and enjoy a lovely Christmas dinner, including a dishwasher. The house was very warm and accommodating and had plenty of room for our party of 6 and 8 for Christmas dinner. We had family over from Portugal and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were very impressed by the house.
