Ardshellach is a superb, detached house, surrounded by half an acre of enclosed lawned garden set above Loch Etive. On the ground floor, you’ll find a spacious, light and comfortable living room, with panoramic windows looking to the garden and surrounding hills and loch. There is a smart HD TV, and many books and games. The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped, and there is a separate laundry / utility room.
There are three bedrooms comprised of a king-sized double and two twins (one with an extra bed and ensuite bath/shower/toilet). There is an additional upstairs family bathroom and a drying room, and a third toilet on the ground floor.
Outside, there is a south-facing sun terrace with garden chairs. The setting, at the end of a road, is superbly quiet, and the location is perfect, not only for exploring the local scenery but also for the wildlife, coastal days on the beach, mountain adventures, as well as exploring the islands and heritage. Oban, with its shops and island ferry port, is 20 minutes by car; Tralee Beach car park is 8 minutes and Glencoe is 45 minutes away. Loch Etive, which the house sits above, extends inland to wild and rugged country accessible only by boat or on foot. In a week you can see so much, but you’ll be left wanting to come back and see more!
