Had a fab week at Ardabhaigh, Gerry was a lovely host. The gardens are amazing, watching for wildlife and listening to the birds chirping away. We had a very relaxing week.

The cottage was clean and well equipped, however the two double beds were very uncomfortable, the basin in one bathroom had a hole in it which had been patched up badly, the tap made an almighty noise when turned on. The location was very remote and local facilities very poor, the write up states view of the loch shore this was untrue. The issue's were raised with owner who stated he had knowledge of the tap and after visiting us agreed the beds were not good. We left after four nights as we had had no sleep our fellow guest's left after two nights due to lack of sleep.

Gerry is very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. The cottage and garden are lovely. We saw deer in the garden from the first morning onwards. I would recommend ordering an online shop from the local tesco and also eating at the Kilchrenan inn. The whole family enjoyed the garden including our dog. On arrival Gerry had provided tea, coffee, cake, wine and fresh flowers, all were much appreciated. Any family would have a lovely stay at Ardabhaigh.
