Elgol is a picturesque crofting and fishing village overlooking Loch Scavaig and the black Cuillin mountain range, which is frequently voted amongst the most beautiful views in Britain. It is known for its epic boat trips where visitors can visit Loch Coruisk, offering some of the most majestic views of the Cuillin mountain ranges Skye has to offer. Alternatively, you can explore the small Isles where a vibrant mix of wildlife is easily spotted. Next door is a fabulous local bistro showcasing the most delicious local produce on your doorstep. The Isle of Skye is famed for its outstanding scenery and rich heritage and culture.
You’ll never be far from the sea, no matter where you are on the Island, or stuck for places to visit no matter the time of year! The nearest township, Broadford is where you’ll find the local shops, restaurants and hotels and is around half an hour away, along one of the most epic roads in the Island. Beach 1 mile.
