Beautiful lodge, perfect location, we went to different places every day including the beach which is only an hours drive away, the owners are extremely helpful and easy to contact if you had a problem. Would recommend and go again. *****

Great lodge, very comfortable beds and sofa, pool table was great fun. Lots of toys for children, Netflix, tea coffee provided and milk. Hot tub comes with instructions so easy to use. Nearest shop we found was about a 10min drive. Great hosts make it an easy relaxing stay.

Family holiday over Easter weekend and this lodge was lovely. Great base for York and surrounding villages. Pub nearby serves great food. Well equipped and spacious for all 8 of us. The weather was great, so made the most of the outdoor seating area, gardens and hot tub!

Had a lovely weekend with my family. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s bigger than I expected and is well equipped. Hot tub was great and the pool table was a hit with my sons. Very handy for getting into York via Grimston Bar park and ride

Good place, few small issues but nothing major. Seems like the owner doesn’t visit the property often and just gets cleaners out inbetween visits. Hot tub was not ready and took 24 hours before we could use it (only stayed Friday til Sunday), there is no lights round the back where the hot tub is so we could only use it for a few hours Saturday evening. We had no idea which cabin was ours as there was no one to greet us and there is 10+ cabins on site.
