On-site you will find a friendly bar/café and being so close to the A1 it’s a great spot for travelling all around this super friendly county. Northumberland is a diverse county with miles of golden beaches on the heritage coast only a few miles away, an abundance of castles and historic sites, a wonderful dark sky National Park and Hadrian’s Wall over in the west. The pretty little market town of Morpeth is only a few miles, here you will find plenty of pubs, restaurants, bespoke shops and riverside boats. Alnwick the ducal town with the popular castle is only a few miles North where some scenes for the Harry Potter and Downton Abbey Films were shot. Nearby Northumberland Zoo is a good day out for the children and Burgham Park Golf Course is nearby. Being close to a great road network you can explore easily from here even taking a day trip to Berwick on Tweed almost on the Scottish Border where you can explore the history of the borders of England and Scotland.
