Apple Cottage is based in an excellent location for exploring the area on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds this will be a popular touring base as well as ideal for a relaxing break. The sandy beaches of the east coast about 30 minutes drive to the east with the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe always popular for a day at the seaside.Market Rasen with its racecourse is about 15 minutes drive as is the unspoilt Georgian market town of Louth, still with two busy market days a week. Horncastle is renowned for its antique shops and is only a short drive away. Inland 25 minutes away is the cathedral city of Lincoln, rich in history combined with independent boutique shopping, great arts and culture and many places to eat and drink while exploring. And after your days spent exploring or relaxing you can return to your cottage to relax with food and drink available through a private gate at the end of your garden. Nearest pub 100 yards, shops and takeaways 150 yards.
