Excellent accommodation. Very helpful and welcoming hosts. Beautiful location with fantastic views on to Loch Long, and Firth of Clyde. Pub, just a mile away, very friendly and served good food (but need to book first.) Whilst we went for a week in June I'm sure it would be a perfect winter get-away too. Woodburner equipped in lounge.

We had a fabulous time at Appin Lodge, restful, scenic, entertaining with the submarine and navy ships and not forgetting the wildlife and the owners were lovely. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and for the lovely welcome pack & flowers.

We had a wonderful time here over Easter. The cottage was spotless and was equiped with everything we needed. The views over the loch were lovely and plenty to do near and slightly further. Lots of excellent walking and wet weather acitivies too.

Excellent cottage. Fantastic location - lochside. Enclosed garden very dog friendly Fantastically clean thoroughout and extremely well equipped and very well maintained property. Very friendly owners who leave the best welcome pack. Fantastic area for Loch side walks and plenty of forestry commission woodlands around for dog walking. Second visit would definitely return again. Excellent base for chilling out and getting fresh air.

We had a fantastic stay at Appin Lodge over Christmas. The apartment is beautiful with amazing views of the water. There are some beautiful walks in the local area and Dunoon has some lovely shops and eateries. One thing to note-The Strone Inn does not have a licence for children. Other than that we loved our holiday in Scotland, and the best part was that Father Christmas was able to fit down the chimney ;-)
