This cosy, welcoming cottage, located in the tranquil village of Spean Bridge in the Highlands, is perfect for everyone, including pets! With a hot tub and a wood burner, you won’t want to leave!

Aonachan Cottage is located in the tranquil village of Spean Bridge, sleeps four and is ideal for families and friends alike. The living room is very cosy with a wood burner and Smart TV, and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. On the ground floor there is a bedroom which benefits from an en-suite shower room, and the master bedroom is on the first floor, also with an en-suite. The front of the cottage has a covered porch with seating and a grass lawn, whilst the rear is paved and enclosed, ideal for the dog. The hot tub is covered and can be enjoyed any time of the year.
Located in the centre of the village, the grocery store, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Spean Bridge is surrounded by numerous trails and hikes, all of which are worth the trek! If you are a keen golfer, the village has its own golf club which is open to visitors. Fort William and its amenities are only a short drive away, however no car, no problem, as there are bus and rail links in and out of the village within a few minutes of the property.
This is a fantastic base camp if you intend to walk, ski, climb or mountain bike close to the ’Outdoor Capital of the UK’. Nevis Range Ski Centre and the world championship mountain bike track are close by, and the area is renowned for its spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife. Take a trip on the Jacobite steam train as seen in the Harry Potter movie, visit stunning castles and gardens, sail to the beautiful island of Mull, take trips to the small Isles or spend a day exploring the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. For the outdoor enthusiast, climbing, walking, skiing, mountain biking, fishing, golf, horse riding and various watersports are available close by. Inverness, Loch Ness, Aviemore and the Isle of Skye are easily accessible by car. The North Coast 500 is also part of this area which includes Plockton, Applecross and Shieldaig as some stunning places to visit.
