Just a short walk takes you into the town, with pubs, restaurants and a train station for scenic journeys on the delightful Ffestiniog railway down to the coast at Porthmadog, a bustling town with a pretty harbour, plenty of shops and great cafés and pubs. From here you can change onto the Welsh Highland Railway and travel through Snowdonia as it winds its way to Caernarfon.

This a fantastic location for exploring this great corner of North Wales, with so much to see and do on your doorstep. Just 500 yards away is a fishing lake, whilst the pretty town of Betws-y-Coed is just 11 miles away. The area has an abundance of golf courses within easy reach as well as beautiful sandy beaches and fabulous walking opportunities. Beach 10 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
