Annahill is a characterful croft cottage built in the 19th century. Situated in a fabulous position, Annahill enjoys views of the 16th century Moniack Castle, the surrounding wooded countryside, and the Munro Ben Wyvis, which is well worth a climb during your stay. It’s honestly one of the best views in the Highlands and exactly what you want from a holiday cottage. The location is brilliant because the cottage is both secluded away from main roads and on the edge of a forest (which incidentally hosts Reelig Glen, a magical place where some of the tallest trees in Britain stand!), but also near to Inverness and some lovely villages. It means you can escape from it all at Annahill whilst at the same time have the option to easily go exploring around the Highlands.
The village of Beauly is only a few miles away and from this historic place you can access Glen Affric via Cannich as well as join up with the NC500 to tour the east and west coasts.

The Isle of Skye is actually a straightforward 90-minute drive from Annahill, so certainly an option during your stay. The accommodation is full of character and the flow of the ground floor is especially nice. We really love the open-plan kitchen/dining room that enjoys a lot of natural light, great views and an open fire.
It’s a great space for the whole family to gather in after days out exploring near and far. The living room again is a nice, bright room enjoying views and another open fire. There are two bathrooms, one downstairs and another upstairs, and on the first floor there are four bedrooms, two doubles and two singles. The garden is large, laid to lawn and there’s a nice plateau with garden furniture set up for you to sit and soak up the view. Annahill serves many purposes for a Highland holiday; whether you want a base to go exploring every day or a hideaway to simply relax and recharge, this cottage is for you.
