These two delightful, detached, single-storey homes are adjacent to the owners’ field where you can see sheep and sometimes horses grazing. These immaculately presented converted barns have been tastefully styled and comfortably furnished and are ideal for couples or families. Both properties have a sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue, plus parking for two cars.Situated on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border, the properties are very conveniently located for exploring the area. They are close to the market town of Andover where you will find shops, leisure facilities and many places of interest. Finkley Down Farm and the Museum of Iron Age are ideal for family days out and why not try one of the history trails such as Danebury Iron Age Hillfort. The city of Winchester is well worth a visit with its cathedral, King Arthur’s Round Table, the Science Centre and Planetarium. Approximately 23 miles away you will find Salisbury with its magnificent 13th-century Gothic cathedral, the Magna Carta and Europe’s oldest working clock.Guests who enjoy exploring the countryside will find there are scenic walks from the door, including Savernake Forest, Collingbourne Woods and Devizes, with canal barges and lovely walks. Andover is rich in history with Saxon links. Other popular places of interest include Stonehenge, Hawk Conservancy Trust, The Museum of Army Flying, Thruxton motor racing circuit, Longleat House and Safari Park, Stourhead, Wilton House, Highclere Castle (home of Downton Abbey), Broadlands at Romsey, Southampton, Beaulieu Abbey and Motor Museum, Marwell Zoo and Paultons Park with Peppa Pig World. Mudeford, Christchurch and Bournemouth beaches are approximately 50-60 miles away and just over an hour by car. There is also a train to London Waterloo (70 minutes), or to Salisbury heading to the west country. A good farm shop, 2 miles away, offers fresh produce, and there are two golf courses just 7 miles away.
