Superb cottage - lovely views from upstairs lounge and huge kitchen downstairs. Very well appointed and in excellent condition. We'll be back! Don't forget to try the prawns (langoustine) and Loch Fyne Ales at the Crinan Hotel!

We loved our stay at Anchor Cottage. The cottage has a lovely large well equipped kitchen and almost every window looks out over the sea. The location is very peaceful. We saw Otters, Seals and Herons during our visit. The window seat is a great place to sit and read a book and watch for wildlife. At night the skies are very dark so you can see the milky way. We only it scored lower on local amenities because it is quite remote so there aren't any, but that's what we wanted. It's the perfect place for peace and quiet and we would love to go back again one day. Only one improvement to suggest. There is no welcome pack, if you arrived late without any provisions you would be a bit stuck. It would have been nice if there had been tea, coffee, bread, milk , jam and eggs so the makings of the first breakfast was there. Most places provide this these days. However this would not stop us recommending Anchor cottage.

We could never tire of the views from the cotrage. So many aspects. Downstairs you felt next to the wster. Upstairs it felt as though you were afloat. The cottage is lovely. We particularly liked the conservatory, kitchen and upstairs lounge. The bathroom shower lacked power, but all in all, it was lovely. The walk to the Crinan Hotel is around 10 mins through the car park and through the trail beyond. Would recommend the boat trip.
