Good base for exploring Dorset; great shops nearby and pubs/restaurants for eating. Cottage is well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay,

A comfortable and well equipped cottage. Very good location, in terms of both access to places to visit and shops and pub restaurants in Beaminster. Our problem with intial access was quickly resolved and the owners were (later) very apologetic, but this (we were never informed of the access code to the key safe prior to arrival despite repeated calls) really shouldn't have arisen in the first place.

Fantastic, cosy, well equipped cottage. Great for peace, quiet and just to escape from it all.

The cottage was lovely - well presented and clean. My only complaint was that the kitchen was not well equipped. There was not measuring jug (essential) and only one pan had a lid that fitted. We don't eat out every day! The welcome basket was not up to the standard we are used to - we have always found a small milk in the fridge.
