Nice compact cottage with good facilities and in a nice area. What it lacks in a view it makes up for with a lovely little well thought out garden with privacy and a hot tub. Located in an area ideal for exploring Bath, Longleat, Cheddar etc. Overall a nice break.

When we arrived Amelia Cottage was spotless clean and tidy and kept to a high standard. Rob the owner couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was as great as possible. The hot tub and gardens were fab and we were in there everyday. The kitchen was fully stocked up with all elec appliances and cooking things you could possibly need. We would love to go and stay there again as we had a lovely relaxing break and would recommend Amelia Cottage to anyone ?

A lovely little cottage. Well equipped.modern and a great hot tub.. unfortunately where it was situated wasn't ideal and spoilt our holiday. Once inside it was lovely and relaxing.we appreciate we may sound snooty but we were trying to get away from a similar location where our own home is. Should have checked.

Myself and my husband spent 3 nights here for our mini moon. When we arrived we were surprised to find the cottage at the end of the street of a run down estate. We had to park on a fairly busy road outside the cottage and were constantly worrying about someone hitting our car. It would be great if the owner could find a way to provide off street parking. The cottage itself was very clean and had everything you may need. We were particularly impressed with the hot tub and the access to Netflix. Only downside was the sofa was very uncomfortable. The sofa is a sofa bed so we tried turning it into a bed for more comfort but it didn’t make much difference. Radstock doesn’t have much to do or many shops, pubs etc but if your willing to drive abit further Bath and Bristol are fairly close by.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Many thanks for your Reevoo rating however we are a bit taken aback at your comments. Yes, traffic does pick up at peak times as it does everywhere but no car as ever been hit. We cannot provide off road parking, as Bath & North East Somerset council and the highways board do not permit it. Yes, it’s a sofa bed as advertised and by their nature can be firm. The cottage is in the middle of Eastdown road, about 1/4 mile long not end of street. The cottage is on the edge of a village and there are one or two gardens that could do with some TLC but hardly qualify as run down. Location of cottage is clear for all to see on Google earth map provided to you on booking site.
