One can access various other places quite easily with a short distance of travel. The cottage is very private and has all the facilities one could wish for. One could hire out both the cottages on the site.

We had a fantastic weekend here. The cottage is kept to a very high standard in all areas. The owner is very attentive without being imposing and personal touches and care were very obvious. Excellent facilities and large variety of equipment in kitchen and throughout the cottage. We were very happy with our choice and would recommend it without hesitation.

I booked Amelia cottage as a 30th birthday gift for my boyfriend. The cottage was perfect, everything we needed was there and the hot tub was lovely . It snowed alot during our stay and sitting in the hot tub while it snowed with the fairy lights on was beautiful. Rob the owner was so helpful, he offered us to stay another night if we needed to due to the weather and even helped push the car up the road when the roads were covered! A wonderful stay, couldn't fault it.

Hi.. it was good a part of Hot tub last 2 days I couldn’t use the hot tub coz water was cold it makes me every disappointed. I booked this holiday because of hot tub and last 2 days I didn’t use it :(

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; I can confirm the hot tub was fully working, we found it had been switched off and discovered rice in it. Unfortunately upon the guest’s departure, we found the property had been left in an unacceptable condition which therefore required considerable extra cleaning. We are naturally very upset to have received such a low score as it is the first one we have had, and as can be evidenced from our other reviews, we have had such lovely positive feedback.

Myself and two friends had a lovely girlie weekend in Amelia Cottage. We stayed so that we could visit the Bath Christmas Market, and the location couldn't have been more perfect. The cottage is lovely, warm and inviting after a long day shopping in the cold, and we felt welcomed throughout our stay. We will be back again I am sure.

This cottage was home from home, it had everything you needed, it was welcoming, clean and comfortable. The host was lovely, helpful and knowledgeable, nothing was ever too much trouble for him. Location would be lovely during the summer months, it is set in a fairly rural location, nearest pub was about a mile away, however to walk to it you have a steep hill to go down, which is fine but try walking back up it. There is a pub and a little convenience store about 400 metres away, however the pub is being refurbished at present and I believe this has been ongoing for quite a while now. We were quite happy to stay in at night as we had the use of a private hot tub, which was lovely (even in the winter months). Bath, City of Wells, Bristol, Weston Super Mare, Clarkes village are all within easy reach
