Amazing lodge. Excellent value for money. Watching the landscape and Alpacas, with the addition of the hot tub ensures a holiday feel on the rainiest of days. Loved it!

No welcome from the owners never saw them once which is a disappointing.A lovely welcome pack. The lodge is looks tired in places. Could do with repainting in places like the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom sink is to small. After having a shower water from it went all over the bathroom floor. The freezer could do with defrosting.Could do with new table mats as the backs are coming off them. The extractor fan in the kitchen was filthy it needs a clean. The curtains could do with tie backs for them to stop them getting dirty and also could do with a new pair by the table and chairs as they are stained and dirty.Stunning views an very quiet and peaceful.Alpaca's was funny to watch everyday. It is the only lodge we have stopped in without a dishwasher would off be nice to have one of these there. The hot tub is the biggest we have ever been in wouldn't say its private in the daytime as workers around in the on the farm only could use it at night time. The only let down about the hot tub was all the conifers trees behind it filled up with leaves and branches everyday. Its the worst trees to put behind a hot tub. Good Location for Weymouth 30 Minute drive and Poole,Bounemouth and Brixham,Nearest town is Dorchester is about 20 minute drive. The village maiden Newton does a shop, chip shop which only saw it opened once during the week.A pub which never saw it open once and a petrol station and a coffee shop.

Fantastic location. Watching the sunrise was a superb way to start the day. We felt very at home and made the most of the hot tub and BBQ. The Alpacas were great company as was Oscar the tabby cat! A great time away, could easily have stayed another week.

Great cottage in a lovely location, would stay here again. Owners live on site and are friendly and helpful but as the cottage is screened by trees from the house its not intrusive.  The living area is large and a huge outdoor deck overlooking the farm and valley plus a dedicated garden area. We had our baby with us and the bedrooms are a little small but there was still space for our travel cot in the master bed.  Outdoor areas including the deck, garden and hot tub are all separately gated so no worries about children running around. The cottage is well located with plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Wow!! What a fantastic holiday we have had. The cabin is marvelous, the view outstanding, the Alpacas wonderful. The owners have put a lot of thought into all that you need and want, with a very welcome "welcome pack". The cabin is very clean, the beds are marvellous and as I am a chronic back sufferer the memory foam mattresses were a godsend. The hot tub is so lovely. Their gorgeous cat visited us and made us feel very welcome. If I could give Amberley a higher rating I would. Wonderful, peaceful, tranquil retreat. Thank you Tim and Tracey for giving us this opportunity.
