We love Stratford-upon-Avon and this was a wonderful base from which to explore. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Fitted out to a high standard. Although it was quite cold a few days while we were there, the heating system was easy to control and we were always warm and cosy. Washing machine very handy and although there is no tumble dryer we managed well with the airer provided. Dishwasher great for a relaxing break. Kids loved their cosy bedroom, which was off main bedroom, so we felt safe knowing they were close by. Although we are not used to a double sized bed, the mattress was very comfortable. Other reviews complain about height in shower but at 6 foot I was able to stand properly and did not find it a problem. Have already recommended cottage to friends and family and we are all looking forward to returning.

We had a lovely stay over the weekend. The slightly lower scores are due to a broken bed frame and faulty fridge - neither of which the owners were aware of after previous guests. They did offer to fix the frame mid stay, but we were ok with a mattress on the floor (entirely our choice!) We initially thought the fridge was due to no resetting after a power cut, but it happened again, meaning that we lost 2 meals that we had to throw away. Otherwise a very well planned out space, in a beautiful location!

Overall an excellent cottage, really well equipped and comfortable. The owners are lovely, and nothing this too much trouble. The only thing I would highlight is that the twin beds are probably only suitable for relatively young children - they have been modified to fit the space (still full length but legs have been altered as sloping wall means that floor length isn't quite long enough for original frame) which makes them a bit creaky and wobbly, my 7 and 10 year old were fine but I'd be nervous about older ones.

This was the second time we stayed at this holiday cottage so we knew what to expect. On arrival there was a welcome pack of bread, milk and some yummy biscuits, all very appreciated. We were on holiday with our two children (8 and 4) and found the Accomodation adequate for a week’s holiday. The second bedroom is very small but fine for our two to sleep in. The kitchen is well enough equipped for a week with plenty of crockery and other utensils. We know Stratford and the surrounding area well as we have family in the town, we found lots to do and places to visit, although it wasn’t half term in Warwickshire so some places were not set up with the usual half term activities. Great place to stay and the owners are very friendly.

The cottage was ideal, the only downside was that although it was surrounded by fields, it was next to a busy main road and you could hear the traffic, it was also difficult to get out of the car parking area.
