Alma Cottage is a lovely Victorian, terraced cottage situated just a short walk from the centre of Yarmouth, whilst still being in a quiet and peaceful area. The property offers a cosy living/dining room with plenty of books to read, and a well-equipped kitchen with French doors that lead out to the courtyard. Upstairs, you can find two comfortable bedrooms and a family bathroom, making it idea for small families or a group of friends.
Yarmouth offers a verity of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, as well as a local harbour where the Lymington to Yarmouth ferry docks. Yarmouth also boasts a 700ft long wooden Victorian pier, which is great fun for all the family. For a little more history, Yarmouth’s castle, built by Henry VIII, is perfect for a picnic and offers wonderful views over the Solent.
If you want to explore the local area, there are plenty of beautiful and scenic walks just a short distance from the property, or visit the Needles, Tennyson Down and Alum Bay. You can also walk down the Yar Estuary towards Freshwater Bay, located on the south of the island. Beach ¼ mile. Shop and restaurant 175 yards, pub 350 yards.
