There is a ground floor bathroom off the rear lobby. Heading upstairs you will find two lovely bedrooms, one double and one with super kingsize bed that can be made into twin beds on request. There is a further large shower room also on this floor. Outside you will find an enclosed rear garden, set on two tiers both laid to patio with an ample seating area to enjoy.
A short walk takes you into the market town of Bridport, with its wonderful mixture of independent and larger stores, cafes and restaurants, and its artists and vintage quarter and Wednesday and Saturday markets to explore and enjoy. Bridport, known as Dorset’s ‘eventful town’, is famous for its many festivals and special events such as the Hat Festival (first weekend in September). There are three arts venues and several live music venues.
Many miles of country walks can be taken straight from the front door or why not jump in the car and explore the numerous Jurassic Coast beaches of nearby West Bay (famous for TV shows Broadchurch and Harbour Lights), Lyme Regis with its Victorian promenade, or fossil hunting on Lyme Regis and Charmouth beaches.
Further afield you have Weymouth with its stretch of sandy beach, Abbotsbury with its Swannery or head inland to Dorchester with its many museums, or one of the many National Trust properties nearby.
