For any large family get togethers, friends meeting for a catch up or to explore the area, this is a perfect stay for all. This large, spacious, detached accommodation will give you all the space you need. Set in large enclosed lawned garden with open views to the rear over the countryside, situated between the Solway Coast and north west of the Lake District National Park, its within easy access to explore the surrounding area.
The ground floor is ideal for groups of all ages, with two reception rooms at opposite ends of the house, ideal for those wanting to have their own time away as well. During mealtimes, everyone can come together comfortably sat around the large dining table. The kitchen has all that you need to make that hearty meal, with plenty of workspace for preparation, whilst the electric range oven will ensure everything is cooked together on time. A further sun room overlooks the rear garden, and the good-sized utility room is perfect to leave those muddy boots or wet coats. For a good night’s sleep and for those with infants or who prefer no stairs, the front double bedroom, with en-suite shower room will be ideal, there is also another double bedroom on the ground floor. On the first floor there are three further bedrooms, including the master with an en-suite, and a family bathroom ensuring everyone starts the day revived and refreshed.
For days out, there is plenty of choice. Historic Carlisle with its many shops, castle and museum, the popular Lake District market town of Keswick has abundance of outdoor retailers, cafés and scenic walks including the Solway Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, all of which are around a 25 minute drive from your stay. If your choice is to explore on two feet, or tour from the comfort of four wheels, a little further afield and you have the Scottish Borders and Hadrian’s Wall. Beach 11 miles. Shop 25 yards, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
