We just love the location of this apartment. Surrounded by open countryside it’s a walkers’ and cyclists’ paradise.

Appaloosa Suite can be found on a working stud farm on the edge of the pretty village of Aike in the East Riding of Yorkshire. One of three newly converted first floor apartments this holiday home is ideal for two couples looking for a rural getaway yet within easy access of both the coast and the bustling market towns of Beverley and Driffield. Set on the first floor this holiday home has been converted to a high standard with contemporary fittings and furnishings. The open plan living/dining room offers far reaching views from the Juliet balcony across the paddocks where you can enjoy watching the stallions and the brood mares with their foals. There is a large deep filled sofa sits to one side and is perfectly placed to enjoy an evening in front of the Smart TV in the living area; an Amazon firestick has been provided for your entertainment. The modern galley style kitchen has an electric oven, hob and a slow cooker. There is plenty of storage for your holiday essentials as well as work top space for preparing delicious home cooked meals which can be enjoyed at the dining table which sits in front of the glass doors and Juliet balcony. The accommodation is completed by the house bathroom with walk in shower. Step outside and private seating with views across the stud is provided for you. A perfect spot for an early morning coffee or to sit and enjoy an alfresco evening meal.
Take a walk into the village and check out the local vineyard and winery where, during the late summer months you can help to pick the grapes and enjoy taster days! From this holiday home it’s possible to enjoy the riverside walks along the River Hull. The nearest pub is around 4 miles away and provides great hospitality and a great pint. Within a short drive are the market towns of Beverley and Driffield.
Beverley boasts a beautiful minster, golf course and a picturesque racecourse. Both towns provide a plethora of independent shops, restaurants and convenience stores. For a day at the coast explore the seaside town of Hornsea or venture further up the coast to RSPB Bempton Cliffs. This area is a walkers’ and cyclists’ paradise with miles of paths and cycle routes to explore. Within an hour’s drive is the ancient city of York and port town of Hull.
