Description

Acorn Cottage is a 3 bedroom detached property situated in the heart of Braithwaite, a popular lakeland village with plenty of good walks on the fells surrounding Braithwaite.

This three bedroom detached house, enjoys lovely views towards Skiddaw, has gas central heating and comprises:

Kitchen: With breakfast bar, electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
Utility room: With fridge, freezer and storage for walking gear.

Acorn Cottage is situated right in the heart of Braithwaite, a popular Lakeland village which has two excellent pubs, each of which serves good quality bar meals and real Ale, two restaurants and a village shop.
Braithwaite lies midway between Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake at the foot of Whinlatter Pass, looking towards Skiddaw and only two miles from the bustling market town of Keswick. There is a visitor centre on Whinlatter with Forest Trails and tracks for mountain biking and plenty of good walks on the fells surrounding Braithwaite, such as the Coledale Round and Grisedale Pike.
