Perched between the mountains of Snowdonia and the beautiful coastline of Cardigan Bay, the house is right on the High Street, with coastal and castle views from many of the windows. The property is accessed to the side of the Galeri, via a passageway leading to the entrance staircase. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge freezer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Plenty of storage room in the retro design fitted units and worktop areas. At mealtime, the traditional dining table in the open plan kitchen dining area offers a wonderful place in which to gather for some delicious home-cooked meals. Again dual aspect of sea and street. The living area on the first floor of this traditional property provides a lovely large open plan space in which to relax or watch the people go by on the street below. At one end a large picture window offers stunning views of the castle, which is only some 60 metres away, the sandy coastline and across to sea to the Llyn Peninsula beyond. Sofas and armchairs face onto a large feature fireplace on a slate hearth. There is a small library corner with another sofa, just the spot for a bit of reading. There is a bathroom cloakroom on the landing of the 1st floor, with stunning views of the sea, beach and local area. There are three main bedrooms on the second floor; One double looks out towards the sea and castle, whilst the other double has charming street and green hillside views and an en-suite shower room, the twin room has twin aspect windows looking out over the street at the front and the sea. All bedrooms are pristine clean with elegant fresh linen on Victorian-style beds. The large family bathroom at the top of the stairs has what can only be described as the best view in Wales from its roll-top bath.
All the amenities are within walking distance, including a lovely selection of shops, cafés and restaurants. A parking permit will be issued for parking in the nearby car park (Deposit needed). The Galeri below is a Community venture run as a cooperative, set up by the property owners to encourage local artists and crafters to display and market their work.
This part of Snowdonia is a great place to stay with a plethora of history and culture on your doorstep with castles, ancient monuments, gardens and stunning sandy beaches. Perfectly located for exploring other parts of the area too; such as the Llyn Peninsula and the heart of the Snowdonia mountains where there are countless things to do and beautiful towns to visit.
