6 Langrigge Court is a wonderfully spacious apartment situated on the first floor of a traditional building. It is perfectly placed for all amenities including children’s playground, lakeside and cafes, restaurants and bars, are all a short walk away, albeit the property is also the perfect place for a relaxing break being very quiet and peaceful. Best of all, the spacious apartment boasts outstanding views across the lake to the distant fells from both the lounge and the kitchen/diner.
The apartment is accessed from the rear of the building close to the allocated parking space, which makes it easy to unpack your car and take your luggage straight in to the small entrance hallway.
From the entrance hallway, there is a staircase leading to the first floor where the rest of the apartment is all on one level.
A spacious hallway with traditional high ceilings leads to; a spacious family bathroom, cloakroom, a tasteful cosy double bedroom and a large twin room with lots of storage.
At the far end of the hallway there is a newly renovated large open plan kitchen/diner, perfect for enjoying family breakfasts or special evening meals. It’s clear to see the kitchen has received some considerable investment as the units have been hand-made in Oak with Granite worktops. There’s a large kitchen island for preparing food.
The fully fitted kitchen also benefits from an induction hob, double electric oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer and large fridge/freezer, ideal for those longer stays. The brand-new splashback subway tiles are in a very tasteful sage green.
The dining area is spacious with ample seating for six, traditional high ceilings and shelving and a traditional double glazed sash window affording views across to the fells.
The large living area is accessed from the kitchen/dining areas with plenty of comfortable seating and a electric fire. You could easily while away the hours just sitting at the window looking at the lake and watching the boats go by. There are also fabulous views of the fells from here.
Outside there is a patio area with furniture to enjoy those warm summer evenings.

Bowness on Windermere is an excellent location for visiting the southern part of the Lake District. The apartment is on the first floor of a converted large and elegant Victorian house in a beautiful elevated position overlooking the town and lake. It’s spacious for four people and reasonably light, although it’s mainly northwest/northeast facing. The little outside courtyard has a southern aspect (but it’s not always sitting outside weather!). The kitchen is very well equipped but the rest of the apartment is uncluttered; there’s plenty of storage space to put your holiday necessities. The views of Lake Windermere from the sitting room are amazing. The furniture is very comfortable but the wooden ends could be a hazard for children. There are inside stairs up to the apartment which could be difficult but once there everything is on the level. Dogs not allowed is good for those of us allergic to them! It was very useful to have the designated parking space in the forecourt.

Lovely location with superb view over Lake Windermere, excellent base for exploring the area. Spacious rooms and well equipped kitchen although we did struggle to get the induction hob to turn on sometimes. Very useful to have off street parking although it is slightly tricky to reverse back out as quite a tight parking space.
