The chalet is located on a family run holiday park nestled in the hillside above Hayle with a Cornish manor at the heart. An area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Hayle is on the South West Coast of Cornwall close to Carbis Bay and just under 4 miles from St Ives. Whilst you are here you will see a wide range of wild birds making the most of the nest boxes and feeding stations, the larger Owl nesting boxes and the Bug Hotels dotted around the park. The grounds are maintained to a high standard with bursts of colours in the flower beds. The property is ideal for families, on ground level it is also suitable for people who have limited mobility. There is so much to do regardless of the weather, take advantage of the local amenities on site (at an additional charge) try crazy golf, giant chess, or for the more energetic a game of squash or tennis. The heated indoor swimming pool with water walkers and aqua glides is always a popular choice.
Hayle has two beautiful long sandy beaches Upton Townas and Hayle Beach, surrounded by sandy dunes at low tide the beaches stretch 3 miles and at low tide it’s great for exploring rock pools and making the most of the water inlets. If you are looking for a quieter beach Mexcio Towans is beautiful there is a very steep sandy incline back to the car park. For Bird watchers the RSPB Hayle Estuary is a must for your itinerary, a natural harbour on the north coast of the south-west of England. Why not visit some of the National Trust sites, Godlophin Estate in Breage, travel back to the 16th Century Garden, find the Leeds engine House and stack and the remains of the Godophin family mine. Step inside the house and discover the history of wealth and power and in contrast the hardships of the tenant farmer, there are fantastic walks on the estate , dogs are welcome on leads in outside areas. One visit will tempt you to book another one. The owners will accept one well behaved dog. Families and couples only.
