A cosy comfortable cottage nicely decorated.. The early morning traffic really was the only let down and shook us out of our beds.

Good location, pub/restaurants close by, local shops & supermarket not far to travel. Cottage in a nice quiet area, has electric storage heaters but too hot at night would be nice to have gas central heating. Has Under floor heating in kitchen which is very good. Disadvantage was the bathroom is downstairs would be ideal if upstairs.

We stayed for 2nights ,The cottage was very nice & cosy very well equipped everything you need for a stay. Comfy beds. What we didn't like was that the road directly in front of the house was busy traffic , early on Saturday morning a very noisy truck went past and woke us up in the front bedroom the whole house vibrated, we think it was construction traffic. The property would benefit from the garden being fenced off and gated to stop dogs or children going onto the very fast road. Please be aware that if you have dogs you will be charged £25 per dog even for 2 nights which we found ridiculous considering that we only had 2 small dogs.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner. Thank you for your kind comments about my cottage, though I am very sorry indeed to learn that you were disturbed by some traffic. The description and photographs of the cottage on the website do clearly state, and show, that the garden has open fencing. The Cottages.com booking process shows that dogs are chargeable so guests can decide prior to booking whether they are happy to pay it or not. The charge is a set charge which is per stay per pet. I hope that not with standing your disappointments I may have the pleasure of welcoming you to 1 Tower End Cottages again.

What a lovely country cottage! We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy and linen very clean, great facilities and a beautiful garden. No disturbing noises from the road. Not in walking distance to anywhere so a car is nessacery. Thank you very much for a lovely few days!

Beautiful cottage with a lovely garden. Perfect location for the purpose of our visit to Kings Lynn. Only downside was a couple of big lorries rumbling past very early on the Saturday morning but not enough to keep us awake and a slightly musty smell in the lounge. Would stay at this cottage again.
