Powys is a tranquil and peaceful county situated in Mid Wales. The county is mostly made up of smaller towns and villages and has plenty of rural space for the ultimate quiet getaway.

Though Powys is a quiet and relaxing place to spend a holiday, this doesn''t mean there is a lack of things to do while you''re there. It is the largest county in Wales, hosting plenty of attractions. For example, there are a number of cave systems located in Powys, including some of the most extensive in Wales. The county also has a number of museums, including Brecknock Museum, which hosts artefacts dating back as far as the Stone Age and occupies a Grade II listed building.
