    The properties’ environmental credentials are strong. Water comes from a spring and much of the heating and hot water is from a geothermal source. A footpath leads directly from the cottages providing circular walks of varying length in the surrounding countryside.
    The nearest town is Narberth, with its wonderful shopping opportunities. About half an hour’s drive to the south are Tenby, Saundersfoot and Amroth with their glorious beaches. While half an hour to the north the dramatic Pembrokeshire and Cardigan coastlines offer beautiful bays, sandy beaches and market towns like Newport, with its excellent restaurants and many good pubs. Carmarthen and Haverfordwest are half an hour away and both towns have a good range of shops, supermarkets and a market. Tourist attractions like Oakwood, Folly Farm, Anna’s Welsh Zoo, Blue Lagoon Water Park as well as The National Botanic Garden of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens and St. Davids - Britain’s smallest city - make for a good day out. There are also at least seventeen castles to visit within an hour’s drive. Excellent walking in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and on the coast path, as well as activities like golfing, sailing, fishing, cycling and horse riding are plentiful in the area.     A trip to the resort would not be complete without a memorable boat ride to the off shore island of Ramsey, cruising close to rare seabirds, grey seals and the occasional dolphin. Preseli’s rolling hills are well worth a visit and are perfect for rambling and biking, or discovering the numerous iron age settlements dotted along its rugged terrain including the bronze age Burial Chamber of Pentre Ifan Dolmen, tucked away near the picturesque Mount Carningli.

Within the village, take a short stroll to the café for breakfast or lunch, or try some local produce with a meal at the traditional and welcoming pub on your doorstep. A short drive south brings you to the city of St David’s, with its magnificent cathedral which has been a dominant presence since the 12th century. For the more active, why not try coasteering under strict supervision of Celtic Quest, where you can jump into the ‘Blue Lagoon’. For walkers, the Preseli Mountains make a great day out. The Pembrokeshire coast path is easily accessible and one-way walks can be facilitated using the Strumble Shuttle bus service which passes through the village. Beach 2 miles.
