Find cottages in Nefyn

Nefyn is a delightful and unspoilt seaside resort on the north coast of the Llyn Penisula and has easy access to a clean sandy beach from the pretty seafront. This really is the place for a relaxing cottage break in an unspoilt location, where you can enjoy beautiful beaches and picturesque countryside.

The sea is special area of conservation and the coast is a site of special scientific interest. There is a grey seal colony here; look out for the pups, born in the autumn. Canoe and sea kayak is available for hire; the ideal way to explore the coastline.

Discover the numerous footpaths that zig zag across the Llyn Peninsula, one of the most popular is the Llyn Coastal Path, which winds through the town and takes you to Bardsey Island, right at the tip of the peninsula. Amazing views are guaranteed. Golfers are also well catered for, with seven different local courses.

The Llyn Historical and Maritime museum is located in St Mary's Church, a Grade II listed building with a sailing ship weather vane on its bell tower, and serves as an important reminder of the maritime tradition of the area; well worth a visit to learn more about Nefyn's seafaring past.

You are in the midst of rural Wales and the Welsh culture is important here, with 80% of the residents speaking Welsh as their first language.
