This charming single-storey detached cottage is peacefully situated on a small working farm amidst the stunning landscape of the Llyn Peninsula and close to the pretty fishing village of Aberdaron. It has been converted from what used to be the farm’s pigsties and now offers cosy and charming accommodation for two. It also boasts a blissful hot tub and outside dining space, with spectacular panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.
Porth Ysgo lies within the ’Pen Llŷn a’r Sarnau’ Special Area of Conservation and is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which has a diverse range of wildlife and marine habitats. The Llyn Coastal Path also runs adjacent to the beach and is a haven for walking enthusiasts, offering magnificent coastal and mountain walks. The area is also ideal for biking, bird watching, bouldering, fishing, water sport activities, or simply just relaxing!
From the cottage, it’s a short walk down to Porth Ysgo beach (via approximately 150 steps), where you can enjoy memorable views of the surrounding landscape and perhaps spot dolphins swimming in the bay.
Aberdaron offers a small selection of shops, cafes and pubs. Lively and fashionable Abersoch, Pwllheli, with its weekly market, and the Snowdonia National Park are all easily accessible.
