The area has plenty of activities to suit all tastes including water sports, golf, horse riding/trekking, fishing and hill walking. The spectacular Falls of Dochart, the tourist town of Callander, historic buildings, castles and distilleries are all within easy driving distance. The Sustrans National Cycle Route 7 passes through the village. Other places to visit include Killin, 14 miles, Stirling, 25 miles, Perth, 47 miles and Glasgow, 50 miles. Whatever you choose to do during your stay, you can rest assured that the comfort of Comraich awaits you on your return.

The area is also full of history. Standing stones, burial cairns and rock carvings abound. The town of Dunoon is within easy reach and has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Take a steamer cruise and explore the hills and lochs of the Cowal Peninsula. An abundance of outdoor activities are on offer with sailing, sea fishing, windsurfing, fast speed RIB boat tours, quad bikes, clay shooting and more.
