Willowbrae is a beautifully presented two-storey detached holiday cottage situated in the picture postcard village of Shieldaig. The cosy cottage living room and separate dining room, both with woodburners, proffer a warm welcoming ambience. There are stunning views across the sea-loch of Torridon to the hills beyond. With two attractive double bedrooms, a bathroom and well-equipped kitchen, Willowbrae will appeal to couples and small families wishing to explore the unspoilt beauty of Wester Ross. The surrounding area is a haven for wildlife. Rare sea eagles nest on the small island opposite, and otters, seals and pine martens are regularly seen close by. Outdoor sports enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice. There is a thriving kayaking centre in Torridon, 8 miles, and visitors are also welcome to launch their own small craft from the slipway adjoining the cottage. Mountain climbing, hill walking, canoeing, sailing, mountain biking and golf are all enjoyed locally. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
