    It is a magnificent area to spot and hear wildlife right from the cottage, such as red and black throated divers, gannets, terns, otters, seals, porpoises and curlew and oystercatchers on the rocks. Enjoy the surrounding beautiful scenery, gorgeous sea views to the hills and beaches of Gairloch, the Torridon hills islands and over to the Isle of Skye. The front of the house is a sun trap, a perfect spot to relax, and take in the view. There are spectacular sunsets over Skye.
    Cosy Ben View is a traditional west coast cottage which has been renovated but kept its characteristics. There is a multi fuel stove, central heating and double glazing so you will be warm in any weather admiring the drama outside the pretty lounge.
    There is a fabulous view from the upstairs lounge furnished with comfortable recliners, sofa and TV. Likewise from the twin opposite. All the beds are solid wood and all rooms are carpeted apart from the kitchen and downstairs WC and W H B. The double bedroom downstairs also enjoys good views so relax enjoy the sound of the waves.
    Gairloch is a thriving West coast community. There are a variety of boat trips from the harbour for sea whale watching and visits to the Shaints in a R H I B. which speeds it’s exciting way over the water. There is pony trekking, hill walking, led walks of all abilities, golf, a museum and stunning Inverewe Gardens and lots of other activities waiting for you here.

This area of the West Highlands is renowned for its superb sandy beaches and breathtaking scenery. Noted for its temperate climate and warmed by the Gulf Stream, an exceptional variety of plants flourish in the region. The sub-tropical gardens of Inverewe, located here, are simply stunning and offer visitors a memorable day out. The surrounding area offers a wealth of activities and places of interest.
