Anstruther is also blessed with its own golf course, situated just at the end of the street, as well as being surrounded by all the courses in Fife. There are many other activities in the area to suit all ages, from the Scottish Fisheries Museum to boat trips to the Isle of May with its world renowned bird sanctuary and nature reserve, which is famous for puffins and seals. There is also the Fife Coastal Path which runs through the village and has historic castles, pretty fishing villages and many beautiful beaches and coves along its path.
