    This delightful holiday cottage has spectacular sea views over the Firth of Forth and the May Island. Dolphin, seals, sea birds and the occasional whale can sometimes be seen from your window and when the tide is in, you can fish for cod from the garden shared with the owner (no licence required). Lobster is a favourite dish in this area and you can find your own supper in the rocky pools or just relax in the sun room with a glass of wine. Cellardyke has its own harbour, bar and small shops locally, and Anstruther is within walking distance with its historic harbour, quaint shops, bars and restaurants or you can enjoy fish and chips from the award-winning restaurant. The Fife Coastal Path runs through the village, with historic castles, pretty fishing villages and many beautiful beaches and coves to visit along the way. The cottage was originally the local general store and the ramp to the utility room and garden was used by the pony and trap for deliveries and there are still the names of some of the workers carved in to the beams dating back to 1904. It is just 9 miles from the ancient University town of St Andrews and its famous golf courses, as well as many other local courses close by. Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth are all within an hour’s drive.
