I have worked for cottages.com for over 10 years and lived in Cornwall for more than double that time. I love the lifestyle choices the county provides with its beautiful coastline, excellent beaches and its ancient wooded valleys.

I enjoy the surf and can often be found on the beaches of Newquay with my family and friends. I also mountain bike along the many off-road trails and cycling centres that are scattered across Cornwall.

I'm proud to call Cornwall my home and could never see myself living anywhere else. As an Area Manager, I'm lucky to work as part of the county’s booming tourism industry and feel privileged to help property owners realise their holiday letting ambitions.

I have worked for cottages.com for almost a decade and feel very privileged to spend my days visiting some of the county’s most beautiful locations, pretty villages and coastal areas. Meeting and assisting wonderful owners who are successfully letting their properties with us always fills me with a great sense of pride. Living in Cornwall for over thirty years, I have raised my family here and still feel very lucky to work within this gorgeous county.

Holiday trends have evolved and Cornwall is vibrant all year round, providing a superb quality of life, from the exceptional food culture to the great arts and live music scene. Living in Falmouth I enjoy water sports, coastal walks, bike riding, the theatre and live music. Cornwall is alive and busy during the summer and equally appealing and relaxing during the autumn and winter months when exhilarating walks along the beach to watch stormy seas can be enjoyed with a hot chocolate from one of the county's leading beach café’s.

Tourism is a vital element of Cornwall’s economy and with staycations becoming increasingly popular, I am confident the industry is set for busy times ahead. .

I live and work in Cornwall and my family connection with the county goes back 5 generations. I have worked for cottages.com for 15 years and I have run my own successful holiday cottage business in Devon, so I really do know what is involved in making your holiday letting business a success.

I'm currently renovating a beautiful country house on the outskirts of Bodmin Moor and most weekends I can be found doing something in the house or in the garden.

I love the Duchy as it really offers a diverse landscape, from the windswept moors to the sandy shores. It's no wonder so many people come to Cornwall for a holiday.

And it's not just cottages we advertise. It could be a flat, an annexe, a modern house or a barn conversion and it doesn’t have to be in a touristy hot spot either. We get excellent bookings in the lesser known towns and villages too. Bodmin moor is one of my favourite places with its wide open ruggedness and tales of smugglers, wild ponies, stone circles and of course the iconic engine houses and chimney stacks.
