Città di Castello features the medieval Palazzo Comunale, an art museum and a cathedral, which mostly dates back to the 18th century. Arezzo, 40km, has a 14th-15th century palazzo, many churches, a Roman amphitheatre and a number of museums, and is a great place to spend a day out. Perugia is slightly further afield, 56km, and includes attractions such as the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Basilica of San Domenico, a botanical garden and the National Museum of Umbrian Archaeology. For golf enthusiasts, a golf course can be found 13km from the property.

This charming apartment is on the first floor of an ancient building dating from 1300 which lies inside the walls of Assisi. It is peacefully located in an area closed to traffic above an archway, often featured on postcards. A picturesque alley below the arch leads directly to St Francis’ Cathedral. There are spectacular views from the window and the two balconies which face the cathedral and the valley below, reaching as far as Perugia on one side, and a view of the gateway/tower of St Giacomo (XII century) on the other. The main monuments and churches are just a few minutes’ walk away on foot through charming alleys and small squares. This holiday house was once an ancient lookout tower from the early 15th-century which became a fortified farm thanks to a second tower. This beautiful, historic residence is made up of two large apartments; the one on the ground floor is occasionally inhabited by the owners. The location is very peaceful and has a calming atmosphere. The property has a full 360° view of the gentle surrounding hills dotted with hamlets and castles. It is possible to go for nice walks to explore the views. The farmhouse is characterized by a particularly fantastic view of the surrounding valleys and hills, which reaches as far as Gubbio. The accommodation has a professional kitchen and is divided into two mini apartments. The large green outdoor areas that surround the house offers absolute peace and quiet. The house is surrounded by lawn areas, a very large panoramic terrace where you can bask in the sun, a covered and equipped terrace and a natural meadow (approx. 5,000 m²) at the beginning of which you will find the swimming pool. There is also the possibility of going for pleasant walks. Approx. 200 m away, at the foot of the hill, there is a horse stable with a few of the owner’s horses with independent access on a private road. On request and upon local payment, the owner will make a horse-riding instructor available for organizing pleasant trips through the countryside.
