Find cottages in Ireland

Holiday cottages in Ireland are the gateway to a fantastic experience filled with stunning scenery, wonderful heritage and a delightfully relaxing ambience that is unique to the ‘Emerald Isle’. There really is no place like it to enjoy a break. And if you’re contemplating a holiday you may like a few suggestions for some of the best things to see and do. So take a look at our guide below for some holiday inspiration!

Ireland’s landscape is justly celebrated for its wealth of treasures, both natural and man-made. Those seeking Ireland’s rural charms will be well-served with a visit to the Ring of Kerry. This circular 180km trail takes in some of Ireland’s most wondrous locations, including Ross Castle, Ladies View and the Killarney National Park, and is well-suited to those looking for a lovely leisurely drive. If you fancy an active exploration of the beautiful scenery then we’d recommend a hike along the Kerry Way. This walking trail is normally completed in nine days, but there are plenty of scenic stretches to stroll along. If you fancy something a little livelier than few visits to Ireland are complete without a visit to its many great cities, and Dublin is undoubtedly the biggest draw. Ireland’s capital offers wonderful shopping, fantastic heritage (the Guiness Storehouse!), beautiful architecture and an enticing, relaxed atmosphere. Those with Irish holiday cottages near Sligo, Cork, Galway and the other major cities will find an equally varied array of activities to enjoy. Then again, if you’d rather get away from it all and enjoy Ireland’s unspoilt beauty and unrivalled tranquillity then we can’t recommend the Aran Islands highly enough. Located a short distance from the shores of Galway, these three stunning islands offer a beautiful window to the past. Explore medieval ruins and gaze at beautiful rolling vistas while you enjoy the uniquely relaxed rural ambience. There are few better ways to create fantastic holiday memories!

Since the country is so renowned for the wild beauty of its landscape, it should come as no surprise to find that outdoor and active breaks are one of the main reasons people seek Irish cottages. There are few nicer places to enjoy a stroll than the countryside of Ireland, but you’ll also find it’s equally well-suited to those looking for a little rest and relaxation. Thanks to a diverse array of attractions city breaks are also incredibly popular. Visitors to Dublin and the other major cities will find fantastic cultural events, great food and drink, wonderful shopping opportunities and a chance to make some long lasting holiday memories.
