Located in a Dark Sky Reserve, the night skies over this part of Kerry are incredibly clear and star filled, due to the effects of the Gulf Stream. Stiague Fort also worth a visit and is within easy reach. A boat trip to the Skellig Islands makes a wonderful day trip. Waterville, 10 miles, with two golf courses, one a championship links course.
