This very pretty holiday cottage dates back to the early 1900s and lies in the heart of the peaceful and picturesque Wicklow Mountains. Wicklow is a beautiful county which is renowned for its stunning scenery and historical landmarks, giving it the well-deserved title of ‘The Garden of Ireland’. Askanagap is a tranquil area in which you can truly relax and unwind. Walk some of the Wicklow Way, visit the local farmers’ market in Aughrim or the Wells Spa at Macreddin Village, 4 miles away. Other places of interest include the historical site at Glendalough and Avondale House at Rathdrum. Children will love the maze at Greenane Farm or the Clara Lara Funpark which are within 20 minutes’ drive, or you can enjoy a day on the beautiful beach at Brittas Bay or shopping at the Bridgewater Shopping Centre. There is much to see and do in the area and Joshua Cottage makes the ideal holiday base. Shops, pubs and restaurants 4 miles.
