The owners live adjacent and have thoughtfully renovated the property to sleep 3 comfortably. You can walk along the banks of the canal, ideal for fishing, and it is very central to many tourist attractions within Meath and Westmeath such as Slane, Newgrange, St Finians Monastery, Belvedere House and the many beautiful lakes in Westmeath. Dublin is just 35 miles away. The property is situated in a rural location and own transport is recommended. Shop and pub 70 yards.

Delightfully situated on the banks of the Royal Canal in lush countryside, this holiday cottage is of a very good standard and features a huge window in the main bedroom which overlooks the canal. Canal walks are a feature of this area and coarse fishing is literally on the doorstep. Local attractions include a very fine stone aqueduct where the canal crosses over the River Boyne, Trim Castle, the largest Norman castle in Ireland, Newgrange megalithic tombs and Slane Castle. Also in the area are the Japanese Gardens in Kildare, the National Stud, many high standard golf courses and beautiful gardens. Dublin city 35 miles, Galway 100 miles. Wi-fi is available next door in the owner’s home. Shop and pub 70 yards.
