With its elevated site, Gleesk House offers the most spectacular panoramic sea views. This traditional Irish cottage has been lovingly restored over the years and offers a wonderful, tranquil haven which can be enjoyed from the beautiful landscaped garden. Reached via a steep lane, the cottage is on a working farm and the 100 acre grounds sweep down the mountain to the shoreline and to coral strand.
Located in a Dark Sky Reserve and on the Wild Atlantic Way, this makes a perfect base for uncovering the superb beaches and national parks of the local area, along with hidden coves, piers and islands. Perfect for hikers and walkers, golf and horse riding are available locally. Deep sea fishing is also available locally along with free fishing from the shore. Suggested day trips include the heritage town of Kenmare, the Healy Pass into West Cork, Killarney National Park and lakes, the Dingle Peninsula and Skellig Island.
