County Kerry

County Kerry provides a wonderful holiday location for all groups, from quiet couple breaks to family fun packed holidays. The untouched natural scenery comprises of impressive mountain ranges including both the Carrauntoohil and Mount Brandon, wonderful lakes and an Atlantic facing picturesque coastline homing an array of spectacular peninsulas and inlets.

The regions climate is surprisingly mild thanks to the Gulf Stream known as the North Atlantic current flowing nearby, this makes for the perfect location for a seaside beach holiday away. And what makes this region particularly special to visit is that its outlying position has allowed Kerry to escape the outside cultural changes and influences keeping its old Irish charm, and as a result a popular location for getting a true traditional Irish experience.

Stay in a seaside cottage in the lovely coastal town of Kenmare, a haven of tranquillity, gourmet food and breath taking scenery. Dingle too has a lovely coastline consisting of steep sea-cliffs broken by gorgeous golden sandy secluded beaches. In land the peninsular is dominated by a range of mountains running from Slieve Mish range to Mount Brandon. There is something for everyone, from the ambitious walkers to those wanting to meander around the town, enjoying fine dining, local cultures and communities and the many arts and film festivals held locally.

Alternatively, chose a cottage by the sea in Catherdanial or Glenbeigh, popular seaside towns offering beautiful quiet beaches with clear blue waters and golden sands, perfect for families for a fun filled beach day out. In the evening retreat back to your cosy cottage to relax and unwind taking in the spectacular views.

Search today and treat your loved ones to a fabulous cottage close to the sea in County Kerry
