County Cork

Set in a lovely corner in Ireland, County Cork is definitely a region worth visiting. Stay in a sea view cottage in a peaceful secluded coastal setting and from here you can explore all Cork’s magical wonders. From its spectacular shoreline and clean sandy beaches to its stunning rolling hillside scenery, this area offers a diverse and natural landscape.

This county is home to the fashionable and vibrant city of Cork, set close to the harbour and with the city centre built on an island of the River Lee. Visit its opera house or art gallery for a truly cultural experience and dine in one of many bustling and friendly bars and restaurants.

Explore hidden coves and relax in the sunshine on the beaches at Bantry and Midleton, or absorb the local history and heritage at the magnificent Blarney Castle built around 1446. For walking and cycling there’s an abundance of great paths and trails, try Fitzgerald Park which takes you past Elizabeth Fort, explore the rugged peninsulas of Bara, Mizen Head and Sheep’s Head.

Courtmacsherry is a true gem of West Cork. This pretty village holds a wealth of activities to keep all ages entertained. Enjoy sailing, horse riding and kayaking, or hire a boat and take in the natural beautiful scenery along the water’s edge. Alternatively, take gentle strolls along lovely paths, fish by the shore as the sun sets then finish for a relaxing evening dining in local bars and restaurants or welcoming pubs.

A popular holiday region since the Victorian times, a seaside cottage in Glengarriff offers a landscape of natural beauty and its peaceful and quiet setting invites you to sit back, relax and take in this special place. Embedded in a glacial deepened valley with dominant stunning mountain ranges there’s so much to explore and do, both on the coast and further in land.

Search today for a lovely seaside cottage in County Cork, and enjoy a memorable and very special holiday with the family.
